Un colorido grupo de hongos encontrados en las Agaricales, o a la brasa orden seta, en una familia llamada la Clavariaceae. Estos hongos crecen en una variedad de áreas y son muy variables en cuanto a forma, tamaño y color. Muchos corales setas son comestibles.
A colourful group of mushrooms found in the Agaricales, or grilled mushroom order, in a family called the Clavariaceae. These mushrooms grow in a variety of areas, and are highly variable in terms of shape, size and colour. Many coral mushrooms are edible.
Género de más grande del mundo de setas, obtiene su nombre del velo parcial que cubre la tapa de los jóvenes cuerpos de fructificación. La presencia de lamellulae, o branquias cortas también proporciona una pista de buen campo ID para especies de Cortinarius. The world's largest genus of mushrooms, it gets its name from the partial veil that covers the cap of the young fruiting bodies. The presence of lamellulae, or short gills also provides a good field ID clue for Cortinarius species. Caps and stipe come in a variety of red, brown, tan, yellow and purple shades.
